IT&E implements new dialing procedure requiring 670 area code for mobile calls in the CNMIIT&E advises mobile subscribers that effective October 24, 2021, all local phone calls in the CNMI must include the 670 area code. The new dialing procedure impacts all outgoing calls made from mobile devices. Calls from landline numbers will not be affected.
IT&E celebrates completion of newest group foster homeIT&E and board members of the Rigalu Foundation toured I Guma Mina’ase group foster home on April 27, 2021. IT&E has donated a total of $12,500 to the Rigalu Foundation in support of the facility's construction and to provide furnishings to create a comfortable environment for foster children. A virtual ribbon cutting was held on May 21, 2021, to commemorate the official opening of the facility, which is now operated by the Department of Public Health and Social Services.
NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSUREHARMON, Guam (April 29, 2021) – IT&E is advising the community that the northbound right lane of West O’Brien Drive, Hagåtña in front of the Judiciary of Guam will be closed while IT&E conducts roadside work. The road closure is scheduled for 8 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Motorist are advised to drive cautiously when in the area and be mindful of construction signage and roadside workers.
Guam carriers team up to inform customers of new 10-digit dialing procedureThe Federal Communications Commission has designated 988 as the service number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline effective July 16, 2022.As a result, starting October 24, 2021, all local phone calls on Guam must include the 671 area code.
PHOTO RELEASE: IT&E distributes mobile hotspot devices for GDOE’s PATH programOn the PATH to success! On April 7, IT&E began distributing the first mobile hotspot devices for Guam Department of Education's Providing Access To Homes program (PATH). Distribution will continue to take place over the coming weeks at the Dededo Senior Citizen Center, Sinajana Mayor's Office, Mangilao Mayor's Office and Agat market grounds. A minimum of 4,000 mobile hotspot devices will be distributed under IT&E's contract with GDOE.
