On August 17, IT&E officially completed the installation of two cellular sites supported by underground fiber running the length of the approximately 3.5-mile road leading to the cliff top. The sites now provide coverage along the road and up to the monument.

Materials and manpower were transported from Saipan to Tinian to complete the project. Work officially began on August 10.

Work officially began on August 10 and was completed on August 17.
