GovGuam Launches $11.4M Project to Expand Broadband

IT&E Constructing New Fiber and 5G Installation to Expand and Improve Broadband Coverage in Southern Guam

IT&E joins the Office of the Governor in announcing the start of an $11.4 million project funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) under the Broadband Infrastructure Program to expand network infrastructure and broadband services to the people of Guam. The project was awarded to the Government of Guam Department of Administration and subawarded to IT&E for the Guam Southern project. IT&E will construct buried fiber and upgrade existing towers with 5G capabilities to expand access to high-speed home internet in Southern Guam.
