IT&E, IP&E support 75th Annual Liberation festivities

HARMON, Guam - IT&E and IP&E presented the Guam Liberation planning committee with a joint donation of $20,000 in support of the 75th Annual Liberation festivities on July 8 at the Gov. Ricardo J. Bordallo Governor’s Complex.

This contribution distinguishes IT&E and IP&E as Kephua Sponsors and will help offset costs to host Liberation festivities, including memorial events held throughout the month of July at various World War II historical sites around the island, the carnival at Paseo open throughout the summer, and the parade to be held on Sunday, July 21 in Hagatna.

“It’s a privilege to join IP&E, the Liberation planning committee, and other community partners in commemorating Guam’s 75th Liberation Day with events that honor and celebrate Guam’s history and people. By supporting the festivities, we give families and the community the opportunity to both have fun and reflect on our place in history,” says Jim Oehlerking, CEO, IT&E.

“As a member of the community, upholding the legacy of our island’s elders is very important to IP&E. We’re more than happy to support this annual event that keeps these memories and lessons alive for future generations. We look forward to a successful and memorable 75th Liberation Day,” says Brian Bamba, managing director, IP&E.
